Pinocchio goes to school and manages to become top of the class. Pinocchio promised the Blue Fairy to follow the right path so that he can become a real child. He offered to carry Pinocchio on the back to reach the departure beach, but when they arrive at the place Geppetto had just left: Geppetto recognized Pinocchio, who called him from the beach, but he could not return for the storm, and shortly after a wave overwhelmed the small boat making it disappear into the sea. On the way home, a big pigeon approached Pinocchio and warned him that Geppetto was leaving for the new world (America) to look for him, crossing the ocean with a small boat. Pinocchio was very depressed after this happened, and he was sitting and crying inside. Then the little girl with blue hair came to help Pinocchio again and, afterward, she told him again to go home to Geppetto. The Cat and the Fox then took out the coins and left. Then Pinocchio was slowly going backward and suddenly he fell into a big pit. After doing so the Cat started to yell at Pinocchio and threatened him, “These coins belong to us and you cannot escape from us.” The Cat was frightening Pinocchio. ![]() The Cat showed Pinocchio a spot and said, “Yes, you can sow this coin here so that you will get many more coins.” Together, they dug the pit and put coins in that pit. “Come on, we will show you a place where you can sow and seed your coins and make lots of coins from it.” The cat said to Pinocchio. When Pinocchio was returning home to look for Geppetto, he met again the Cat and the Fox. The Fox said, “This money is not enough to buy it, to grow your money let’s plant it in the magical garden and get more money.” Then intending to rob him, the Cat and the Fox disguised themselves as murderers, chase the poor puppet and, once caught, hang him at the Big Oaktree. Pinocchio said he was going to buy some school notebooks and pens. Seeing Pinocchio with money the cunning Fox and his friend Cat stopped him and asked him where he was going. ![]() The puppet’s ingenuity becomes evident when on his way home he meets two fearsome scammers, the Cat and the Fox. Getting those coins, Pinocchio said that he would now go directly home. Pinocchio was embarrassed and begged the owner again and again.Īfter listening to his story, Mangiafuoco decides to give him 5 gold coins so that he could buy school things and go home to Geppetto. Eager to throw the wooden puppet into the flames, Mangiafuoco manages to soften himself to Pinocchio’s requests, “No please, forgive me. The puppeteer Mangiafuoco intervened to restore order.
